The Robert E. Howard inclusion is a genuine draw for fans of El Borak and golden-age pulp, and 500-plus pages of adventure fiction at a low digital price has real value for the right reader. But the Kindle edition has documented typographical errors and a duplicated story, the imperialist attitudes baked into the era's adventure fiction are real limitations, and quality across 25 authors is predictably uneven. Worth it only for committed pulp enthusiasts who know what they are getting into.
