Dag Heward-Mills writes from decades of hands-on ministry leadership, and the topic-by-topic layout makes it easy to dip into for whatever you need. It's squarely built for church and ministry leadership though, so it won't translate cleanly outside that context, and the reception numbers come from the publisher rather than independent reviewers. A solid pick if you're leading a congregation, a mixed one otherwise.
