It's a satisfying close to the original trilogy. The caveat: readers who know only the film will find the novel nearly unrecognizable in plot, and the Cold War machinery can feel dense. Some tradecraft sequences repeat. There's also mature violence and coarse language throughout. Not for younger readers, but adult espionage fans who followed the trilogy from the start will find it rewarding. Worth It.
