Gulfo's conviction that genuine caring is foundational to business leadership is admirable, and the online scorecard is a practical differentiator. But the case studies are almost entirely drawn from biopharmaceutical settings, the reception is press-release thin, and 'caretensity' needs a stronger empirical foundation to compete with better-supported leadership frameworks. Worth reading for healthcare executives; less compelling for everyone else.
