Self-help ✦ Penny’s Take
The Christian Life
Sinclair B. Ferguson · 2013
Sinclair Ferguson is one of the clearest theological writers working in the Reformed tradition, and this book proves it — eighteen chapters on union with Christ, justification, sanctification, and the rest, written in plain language that doesn't condescend and doesn't oversimplify. J.I. Packer's endorsement is not window dressing; the book genuinely earns the description of theology that's practical for ordinary people. If you're outside the Reformed-evangelical world this will feel foreign, but inside it this is a dependable, well-made introduction.
