Dickinson's holistic framing — treating retirement as a financial, physical, and psychological whole rather than just a money problem — was genuinely ahead of its time in the 1970s, and that legacy deserves acknowledgment. But every specific dollar figure, Social Security rule, Medicare detail, and investment framework in this book is now obsolete, and there is no updated edition.
