The title is a bit of a bait-and-switch — this is really a warm story about four women forming an unlikely friendship through a shared reading life, not an erotic novel. Harrison's YA instincts translate better to adult women's fiction than you might expect, and the book-club-within-a-book structure is genuinely appealing. Predictable arc, but executed with heart.
