Finance β¦ Penny’s Take
The Economics and Management of Small Business
Graham Bannock Β· 2005
71/100
π Worth It
Graham Bannock has real chops - he co-authored the long-running Penguin Dictionary of Economics and consulted for the World Bank and OECD - and this textbook takes a genuinely international, comparative look at small business policy rather than the usual single-country view. It's academic in register, built more for students and researchers than a Saturday-morning read, but it's credible and well-constructed for what it is.
β¦ Penny’s Take β this is The Review Group’s own editorial assessment. Penny’s analytical review line researched this book from real sources and scored it across the lenses shown below. It’s an honest first-party read β not a page-by-page personal one. The gold β Penny Tested mark is reserved for books Penny reads cover to cover herself.
