The Halo Effect
Phil Rosenzweig Β· 2007
87/100
π Worth It
Rosenzweig does something genuinely rare in business publishing: he takes apart the methodology behind the bestselling management books and shows exactly where the reasoning breaks down. The Halo Effect is sharper, more intellectually honest, and more durably useful than most of the titles it critiques. It is lighter on prescriptive takeaways, but that restraint is part of the point β clearer thinking is the prescription. Business Book of the Year 2007 and a Taleb endorsement are credible signals.
