Haidt does something rare here — he takes Plato, Buddha, and Jesus seriously alongside modern psychology and finds real common ground, wrapped in that memorable 'rider and elephant' metaphor for willpower. It's witty, well-sourced, and respectful of faith traditions without preaching any single one. Just double-check which audio edition you're grabbing, since a few different narrators exist and none have detailed listener reviews I could find.
