Self-help β¦ Penny’s Take
The Little Book of Confidence
Susan Jeffers Β· 2018
62/100
π Skip It
Susan Jeffers was a genuine force in popular psychology and the distilled format here works fine as a daily companion for existing fans. But the non-denominational spiritual framing β drawing on her broader 'spirit' and New Age vocabulary β will put off traditional faith readers, and readers new to Jeffers would be better served starting with Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway rather than this lightweight excerpt.
β¦ Penny’s Take β this is The Review Group’s own editorial assessment. Penny’s analytical review line researched this book from real sources and scored it across the lenses shown below. It’s an honest first-party read β not a page-by-page personal one. The gold β Penny Tested mark is reserved for books Penny reads cover to cover herself.
β Parent note β our reviewers flagged: light New Age spiritual framing; non-biblical 'spirit' and harmony language throughout. We still scored it 62; these are context for your family, not an automatic skip.
