This is a tidy, faith-clean finale to a long-running romantic-suspense saga — royal intrigue meets small-town Minnesota, and nothing here should worry a family listener. But it's clearly built for readers already 12 books deep, the plot leans on genre convention more than fresh craft, and I couldn't find a single independent review to back up the publisher's own "emotionally satisfying" pitch, so take that claim with a grain of salt; narrator Adam Gold is a safe bet but his actual performance is an unknown quantity.
