Reacher tracking a stolen West Point ring turns into a genuinely affecting look at what the opioid crisis does to veterans, and Lee Child keeps the pages turning while he does it. It leans on familiar series beats, but the social conscience gives this one extra weight over a typical Reacher outing. Put this on audio if you can — Dick Hill's gravelly voice IS Reacher at this point, so the narration is very much worth the listen.
