Langemeier's own story as a hardworking single mother gives this some real grit, and her twelve-block wealth plan is more specific than a lot of finance books manage. But at least one detailed critical review flagged her advice to leverage big chunks of home equity for business ventures as genuinely risky, and other readers found the overall message a bit hollow. Bernadette Dunn's narration is fine, but approach the advice here with some healthy skepticism.
