The Myth of Mars and Venus

Deborah Cameron Β· 2007
80/100
πŸ‘ Worth It

Deborah Cameron brings Oxford-level rigour to a topic most people think they already understand, and the result is a genuinely persuasive dismantling of the Mars-Venus myth. She shows clearly that the research cited by pop-psychology bestsellers was cherry-picked or misrepresented, and that the real data shows far more variation within each gender than between them. The argument does get a little repetitive across 196 pages, but this is among the most solidly grounded books you'll find in its category.
