Series ✦ Penny’s Take
The Myth of Superwoman
Resa L. Dudovitz · 1990

👎 Skip It
Resa Dudovitz's pioneering academic study takes popular women's bestsellers seriously as cultural texts — a genuinely original move when the book was written — and its 2019 Routledge reissue confirms it still has scholarly standing. But this is firmly a university-level feminist literary criticism monograph with a 1980s primary focus, and it will find no audience outside graduate seminars in women's or cultural studies. The catalog listing under Series+Adaptation also appears to be a misfiling.
