Johnson's Sleeping Beauty retelling threads faith and adventure together with a light hand, and the ensemble cast—particularly the priest Theo—gives the story genuine warmth without being preachy. Four novellas spread across a box set can feel a little uneven in pace, and coverage is thin enough that it is hard to be definitive, but Enclave's faith-friendly imprint and positive reader response make this a reasonable pick for teen readers who enjoy fairy-tale fantasy.
