πŸ‘ Worth It

The third book in Kiera Cass's Selection series delivers what the first two books built toward: romantic payoff, meaningful character deaths, and a rebel uprising that finally forces the story's hand. America Singer has to choose between Maxon and a future she's been ambivalent about for two volumes, and the added plot momentum makes this the most satisfying entry in the trilogy. That said, the emotional weight of some major deaths doesn't fully land β€” reactions feel rushed β€” and the dystopian world-building remains thin. Content to flag for parents: characters share a bed, violence includes a headshot and rebel attacks, and an abusive character plays a significant role. Common Sense Media recommends 13+, which feels right.
