A genuinely MBA-level entrepreneurship primer that earns its reputation — Babson faculty bring real credibility to every chapter, and the breadth of coverage from opportunity identification through legal structure is hard to match in a single volume. The multi-author format creates some tonal unevenness, and a 2010 publication date means the startup ecosystem chapters have aged in places. Still a solid foundational read for anyone starting or funding a business.
