Ceri Sullivan's interdisciplinary bridge between Renaissance merchant culture and Jacobean drama is genuinely innovative and archivally impressive, but Renaissance Quarterly itself noted the core thesis was not fully proven, and the audience is narrow enough that most readers will find little foothold.
