I like this one's angle best in this batch - an outsider leaving her old life to be tested and 'proved' into an Amish community flips the genre's usual direction, and it's built to work as a standalone even deep into the series. Beverly Lewis has the track record to pull it off, and readers who've written about it call it more layered than typical courtship fare, though I don't have a big trade review to back that up.
