The Seven Laws Of Success

Herbert W. Armstrong · 2012
59/100
👎 Skip It

Herbert Armstrong's seven-law framework — goal-setting, preparation, health, drive, resourcefulness, perseverance, and dependence on God — is memorable and accessible, written in the direct broadcast style he honed over decades of radio. The complication is that Armstrong founded the Worldwide Church of God, an organization with heterodox theological positions (Sabbatarianism, rejection of the Trinity), and this 2012 reissue comes from the Philadelphia Church of God, which continues in that tradition. Readers comfortable with that context may find genuine motivational value; those who are not will find the doctrinal freight a distraction.

✦ Penny’s Take — this is The Review Group’s own editorial assessment. Penny’s analytical review line researched this book from real sources and scored it across the lenses shown below. It’s an honest first-party read — not a page-by-page personal one. The gold ✓ Penny Tested mark is reserved for books Penny reads cover to cover herself.
⚠ Parent note — our reviewers flagged: tied to Armstrong-affiliated theological tradition with non-mainstream doctrines. We still scored it 59; these are context for your family, not an automatic skip.
