The daily structure is well designed and the activities are concrete, which gives the book a practical edge over much New Age parenting content. But the Vedantic philosophical foundation — karma, dharma, pure potentiality as the supreme parenting tools above even love — will be a meaningful mismatch for families with traditional Christian or other exclusive faith frameworks. Kirkus's skepticism about that central premise is fair. Best suited for families already living inside Chopra's worldview.
