Self-help β¦ Penny’s Take
The Sky's the Limit

Wayne Dyer was a genuinely skilled communicator, and this book launched a whole era of self-actualization thinking that still echoes in the genre today. By current standards, though, the pop-psychology framework feels thin on research, heavy on sweeping declarations, and quite dated β readers accustomed to evidence-based modern self-help will feel the gap. A piece of the genre's history more than an essential read today.
