I like that the author is an actual wildlife biologist, which gives this quiet story about a lonely mountain tree finding company through the seasons real credibility. It's a gentle way to talk to a child about loneliness, but it's brand new and unreviewed anywhere else, so I can't fully vouch for how it lands in practice.
