The Way of Real Wealth

Mark Waldman was ahead of his time in asking people to examine the emotional and spiritual dimensions of money, and there is real value in that framing. But a 1993 publication date means some of the financial specifics have aged out, the spiritual pluralism will put off readers with strong single-faith commitments, and there is simply not enough critical track record to assess how well the exercises hold up. An interesting artifact of the values-based finance conversation, but not the strongest entry in that genre today.
