InterVarsity Press publication gives this handbook credibility within evangelical circles, and Wheeler's active ministry experience at Willow Creek grounds the advice in real small-group practice rather than theory alone. The audience is genuinely narrow — this is most useful for small-group leaders and prayer coordinators — and no independent trade reviews exist to gauge how it performs beyond its niche. Within that niche it is probably a solid, practical resource, but there is not enough evidence to recommend it broadly.
