Elma and Thelma's twin-sister bond is the real heart here, carried across three sweet, low-stakes novellas about a general store and a slow bloom of romance. It's gentle and wholesome through and through, though nothing about it will surprise you. Rebecca Gallagher narrates, but I don't have enough on her performance to promise the listen elevates the material.
