These North Korea-set stories come from real research and a genuine partnership with a group that helps escapees, and the faith-under-pressure premise has real weight. But beyond the publisher's own award claims and marketing copy, I couldn't find independent reader or critic reactions to back it up, so I'm not ready to call it a must-read yet.
