Lupinacci's Dallas County study was a genuinely useful early empirical look at women entrepreneurs when it was published, and it earns credit for bringing work-family balance and satisfaction into the frame at a time when those questions were often ignored. But the data is now decades old, the geographic scope is limited, and the academic prose will exclude most readers who aren't already in the field. A historical footnote more than a living resource.
