10 Easter Egg Hunters
Schulman's counting book sends ten enthusiastic kids on an Easter egg hunt courtesy of a fluffy white Easter Bunny, counting down as each child finds their egg, with a running tally on every spread. Linda Davick's cheerful pastel illustrations make it a bright lap-read for toddlers and preschoolers, and the simple rhyming couplets are easy for caregivers to read aloud. The book focuses entirely on the egg hunt and Easter parade β no religious content in either direction, making it comfortable for a wide range of families. The honest caveat is that School Library Journal found it pleasant but thin compared to stronger seasonal counting books, and the story itself is minimal even by picture-book standards. It's a solid Easter basket addition for very young readers, not a standout.
