This Capstone Press biography does what the Famous Inventors series is designed to do: give early readers a clear, chronological introduction to Bell's life and work, including his meaningful contributions to deaf education. It is functional and classroom-ready, but it is also dated (1999), brief to the point of thinness, and unlikely to spark genuine curiosity beyond the assignment at hand. It is fine, not memorable.
