All about Courage

Frank Peretti and Bill Ross package David and Goliath, Esther, and the fiery furnace into a Sunday School class taught by Mr. Henry — a lovably bumbling substitute teacher whose comic mishaps frame each Bible retelling. The humor keeps children engaged and the faith message is clear without being heavy: the same God who gave David courage is available to any child who asks. Outside of Christian families and church settings, the appeal is limited, and Mr. Henry's framing may feel a little dated. But for parents and Sunday School teachers looking for a lively, kid-friendly way into these foundational stories, this one does its job well.
