Kidnapped vowels as a mystery-adventure hook for a picture book is a genuinely clever concept, and the Seussian rhyme scheme is the right delivery vehicle for it. But at 30 pages with limited independent reviews and uncertain production quality for a debut self-published title, there is not enough evidence to recommend it over better-documented alphabet books with comparable wordplay ambitions. The concept is there; the track record is not.
