The intergenerational pairing of David and his grandfather is genuinely appealing, and the core kindness message is exactly right for the age group. But self-publishing through Fulton Books with minimal editorial oversight and no documented reception from educators or librarians makes it hard to confidently recommend over better-vetted picture books on the same theme.
