Penny here — this is a lovely send-off for the Martin and Carle partnership, widening the animal cast and the vocabulary while keeping that comforting reunion-with-Mama ending. It asks a little more of littles than the original Brown Bear book, which I think makes it a nice next step. Wholesome and well-crafted, through and through.
