Bard's Rhyme Time

👍 Worth It

Bard the gecko, Baby Einstein's rhyme-loving character, goes looking for rhymes in his bedroom, backyard, at the lake, and on the farm — and interactive lift flaps let toddlers discover the matching words alongside him. The phonological awareness content is genuinely useful for early literacy, and the familiar Baby Einstein branding gives parents confidence in the developmental intent. Bold illustrations hold infant attention between the flap-lifting moments. The honest caveat: board book flaps take a beating with heavy use, and this one will eventually show its wear. The content is also simple enough that most children will outgrow it by the time they hit preschool. For the infant-to-toddler window, though, it's a cheerful, purposeful lap-time book that earns its place in the basket.
