Bedtime with Rollo
Rollo the NightSpryte exists for one purpose — to sit beside a child who's scared of the dark and say, plainly and warmly, you don't have to be afraid. For a 24-page picture book aimed at toddlers with bedtime jitters, that focus is the right call. The imaginative creature concept gives kids something concrete and friendly to attach to instead of imagined monsters. The honest caveat here is that this is a small independent publication with limited distribution and almost no third-party critical coverage, so it's hard to assess how the book holds up against more widely reviewed bedtime titles. What's clear is the intention is kind and the format is appropriate. Worth trying if the premise resonates with your child.
