👍 Worth It

An impressively broad anthology that introduces Dickens, Wilde, Kipling, Tagore, Chekhov, and more in a single HarperCollins India volume — that's real value for a middle-grade reader or a parent building a home library. The ghost story and Dracula inclusions are mild by classic-literature standards but merit a heads-up for more cautious families, and the lack of editorial apparatus (introductions, notes) is a missed opportunity. Still a strong gateway collection for ages 10 and up.
