This Capstone early reader introduces the DC villain Bizarro in a simple origin story with large print and bright illustrations that suit emerging readers around ages six to eight. Librarians have approved it for school collections, and the comic-book level action is age-appropriate, but no professional editorial review from Kirkus or School Library Journal has weighed in, and the story itself is thin even by early-reader standards. A fine enough pick for young superhero fans but nothing that stands out from the early-reader crowd.
