Classic Munsch Moods
This compact board book pairs Robert Munsch's familiar characters with 21 labeled emotions, from happy and sad all the way to sneaky, shy, and calm. Michael Martchenko's bright, expressive illustrations carry the load here β kids who already love Munsch will light up at the recognizable faces. The range of emotions covered is genuinely impressive for a toddler-targeted format; most rivals stop at five or six feelings. The honest caveat is that each page simply announces the emotion rather than inviting the child to puzzle it out, which reduces the back-and-forth that makes these conversations stick. Still, as a starting point for naming feelings with little ones, it earns its spot on the shelf.
