Clifford's Manners

Clifford is a reliably beloved character and the familiar artwork makes this a comfortable family read-aloud, but the book functions more as a list of manners than a story — there is no real narrative arc, just illustrated examples. It covers useful ground and works well for classroom settings where the lessons can be discussed, but as a standalone picture book the narrative engagement is thin. A useful tool; a limited book.
