The caveats are real: paleontology has moved fast since 1995, and some specifics are likely outdated. At 25 pages, depth is minimal. And there is almost no critical record to draw on. For a library or home shelf supplement that introduces geological time and dinosaur eras with colorful pictures, it serves its purpose — just pair it with something more current.
