Cracking the SAT U. S. and World History Subject Tests
The Princeton Review's test-prep formula — content review plus strategy plus full practice tests — is well-established, and this guide applies it competently to both U.S. and World History. For a high schooler preparing for SAT Subject Tests in the mid-2000s, it would have been a solid study companion. The problem is straightforward: the SAT Subject Tests were discontinued in 2021, which makes this specific edition effectively obsolete. The history content summaries are necessarily compressed, and the test-taking strategies no longer apply to an active exam. There's no reason to seek this out today. If you need history test prep for a current exam, look for something written for the tests students actually take now.
