The real strength is the combination of beautiful imagery and accessible story length for young children. The honest caveat: these are simplified retellings, not full adaptations, so the narrative complexity of the original films is reduced, and some of the older stories carry social tropes that parents may want to talk through. Still, as a family read-aloud treasury, it does exactly what it promises. Completely family-safe and faith-friendly.
