Dreamer
Brian Moses, one of Britain's leading children's poets, and illustrator Bee Willey team up for a lyrical environmental picture book that follows a child dreaming of clean water, free wildlife, and pure air. Moses's words are spare and powerful, and Willey's mixed-media collage illustrations β part painting, part layered texture β give the book real visual presence. Informational notes and a resources list make it a natural classroom discussion starter on conservation, and the creation-care theme aligns comfortably with faith-family values. One honest caveat: at least one reviewer noted the irony of an environmental book printed in China. It's a small but fair point. For ages four through nine, this is a gentle, gorgeous call to love the natural world.
