Everybody Has Feelings

Jon Burgerman packs more than twenty named emotions into 32 bouncy, rhyming pages, and his signature large colorful characters make the content immediately inviting for toddlers and preschool-age readers. The real strength here is vocabulary range — most feelings books hit the usual five or six emotions, while this one gives children language for subtler experiences too. Educators and nursery teachers have praised it as a natural fit for group read-alouds and Reception-year classrooms. One honest caveat: the rhyming format keeps things breezy, which means a few more complex emotions get a lighter treatment than they might deserve. And note that while the catalog lists 2026, this title was actually published in July 2021. Entirely family-safe and well-suited to homes and classrooms alike.
