A warm, visually appealing picture book that does exactly what it promises — showing young children that families everywhere share the experience of togetherness. It works well in a preschool or kindergarten classroom setting, but the thin, purely informational format means it offers little staying power as a read-aloud at home. Fine for its narrowly defined purpose, but not a standout.
