Children's ✦ Penny’s Take
Explore My World Baby Animals

👍 Worth It
National Geographic brings its world-class photography to a book that tiny readers will want to revisit again and again — warm mama-and-baby pairs, simple story-driven text, and vocabulary pitched exactly right for ages three to seven. It bridges nonfiction and narrative in a way that makes it genuinely useful for early readers and a delight for lap-reading at home. The only quibble is that familiar animals dominate; this is not a book that will surprise a curious five-year-old with the unusual.
