Extreme Sisterhood

Randi Reisfeld captures the Clueless voice well enough, and the blended-family premise is genuinely relatable for its target tween audience. But as the eighteenth book in a novelization series for a 1995 film, this is almost entirely nostalgia-dependent — it has no critical documentation, no literary ambition beyond franchise extension, and its relevance is locked in the late 1990s. Readers who loved the film at the time may enjoy revisiting Cher's world; everyone else has better options.
